“Production on Demand” is a system in which the Pacific-Concepts affiliated factories, based in Switzerland and China, hosts your warehoused components and offers web based software to place customized orders accordingly to your customer request or marketplace demands.

The two main goals of “Production on Demand” are:

    . Minimize our clients’ inventory

    . Maximizing product mix optimization.

This unique system is based on a propriety inventory optimization program that provides Pacific-Concepts the ability to deliver merchandise all over the world in matter of days instead of months.  

Product mix optimization offers the benefits to create new sku’s or line extensions in a more efficient manner.  This can be done in the form of full production, as a test or for a roll out.

Briefly, the process:

-    We work with your product development team to create a collection of watches and packaging.

-    We submit designs and necessary revisions to you for approval.

-    We produce samples for your approval.

-    Together we establish a minimum stock level of components.

-    We create your web based procurement software to process and manage your orders, minimum stock levels and component requirements.

-    We will set up the order approval process and the incorporate all pertinent supply chain information (e.g. freight forwarders, etc.).

-    Finally, our web based system will allow your supply chain team to order the merchandise needed and tailor any combination of components as required, for example:  a steel watch with blue dial for one account (or country) and a rose gold version with black dial for another … with minimums as low as one piece per style.
